Vad betyder Martindale värdet?
Martindale anger slitstyrkan på tyg. Värdet talar om hur många varv en platta klädd i tyg kunnat snurrats mot tyget utan att det börjar bli noppigt eller få maskor.
Det innebär att desto högre martindalevärde, desto slittåligare tyg.
På möbler avsedda till hemmamiljö brukar ett Martindale-värde på över 15 000 rekommenderas.
För offentliga miljöer såsom hotell, sjukhus och caféer brukar värden över 30 000 vara lämpligt.
